The truck collided with another vehicle before the Katy Freeway’s intersection with Washington Avenue. The three center lanes were closed around 6:38 p.m.

KATY, TX  – A heavy truck crash stalled traffic on the Katy Freeway this afternoon, according to the team at Houston TranStar. The accident was reported before the Katy Freeway’s intersection with Pin Oak. The incident closed down the highway’s right shoulder, shutting down traffic. The area was cleared around 12:36 p.m.

HOUSTON, TX – A big rig spilled oil on the Gulf Freeway following a wreck this afternoon, according to the team at KHOU 11. The accident was reported near 8500 Gulf Freeway near Monroe at around 3:45 p.m. It is not known if anyone was hurt.

HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed in a four-vehicle wreck involving an 18-wheeler on Friday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The wreck took place on the Sam Houston Parkway between Wallisville and Woodforest Road. Authorities told drivers to expect serious traffic delays. The identity of the victim has not been reported.
