HOUSTON, TX – A car fire shut down lanes on the North Freeway this morning, officers at the Houston Police Department reported. The fire was reported at the freeway’s intersection with Richey Road around 5:05 a.m. The fire shut down all nearby lanes — authorities warned drivers to seek alternate routes.
