HOUSTON, TX – At least one person was killed in a crash on U.S. 59 on Sunday afternoon, the Houston Police Department reports. HPD officers arrived at the crash at the freeway’s intersection with Beechnut Street around 1:24 p.m. No further details about the incident, such as the identity of the victim, were released.
