Suspects flee after crashing car into ditch during police chase

HOUSTON, TX – Suspects fled the scene after crashing their car into a ditch during a police chase on the night of Saturday, December 12, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports.
District 3 attempted to stop a truck which fled, crashed into a ditch off Sheldon & Jacintoport Blvd. 2 occupants ran. 1 was quickly caught and is headed to jail on open warrants. Driver is on foot in a wooded area. A K-9 unit is on the hunt for the driver. pic.twitter.com/yoqoEhLGMT

Authorities attempted to stop the truck for unknown reasons, but the driver fled, eventually crashing into a ditch off of Sheldon and Jacintoport Boulevard. Two occupants inside the truck ran from the area, but one was eventually caught and detained by authorities.
The driver of the truck was reported as being on foot in a wooded area, with a K-9 unit searching for the suspect.
