Suspects caught after fleeing scene of crash on US 290

HOUSTON, TX – Suspects were caught after fleeing the scene of a crash on US 290, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
D5 CRU/DGU attempted catch a speeding vehicle on 290/Jones rd. The vehicle struck another vehicle causing severe damage and injuries. The suspects fled on foot but were later captured. A loaded revolver was found in the vehicle, 2 in custody! @HCSO_D5Patrol @HCSOTexas pic.twitter.com/WywzoqHRlg

The suspects were reportedly speeding on US 290 near Jones Road when they crashed into another vehicle around 4:31 a.m. They fled the scene of the crash but were later detained by authorities.
A loaded revolver was found in the vehicle.
