Suspects arrested after police chase ends in wreck near Wayside Medical Plaza

HOUSTON, TX – Two suspects have been arrested after a police chase ended in a wreck near the Wayside Medical Plaza on Wednesday afternoon, Click2Houston reports.

Authorities attempted to pull over the vehicle involved at a traffic stop at Jefferson and Polk, but the driver refused to stop. The driver then sped off, even driving the wrong way on the Gulf Freeway while avoiding being hit by other cars.

The chase, which lasted about an hour, ended when the suspect crashed their car into another vehicle near Wayside Medical Plaza. Two suspects were immediately detained by the police following the incident.
