Suspected Harris Co. DWI crash leaves 1 dead, another seriously hurt

HARRIS CO., TX – A man was killed and a woman suffered serious injuries following a suspected impaired driving accident in north Harris County on Friday night.
According to ABC 13, A southbound pickup truck on SH-249 veered into the oncoming lanes near Breen Drive and struck a car waiting to make the left turn.
The unidentified male passenger in the second vehicle was killed in the crash. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the pickup showed signs of impairment at the scene and was taken into custody on charges of Intoxication manslaughter and aggravated assault.
