Suspect killed after crashing during police chase

HOUSTON, TX – The suspect in a police chase in north Harris County was killed after crashing into another vehicle on Tuesday, May 19, The Houston Chronicle reports.
Authorities attempted to pull over the motorcyclist when they noticed he was riding a stolen motorcycle. The motorcyclist then sped off onto FM 1960, reaching speeds up to 100 mph. At the highway’s intersection with Jones Road, the suspect crashed into the 72-year-old driver of an SUV.
The driver was killed upon impact while the 72-year-old suffered only minor injuries.
