Suspect crashes into bridge during police chase on the Gulf Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department reports that a suspect crashed into a bridge during a police chase on the Gulf Freeway on the afternoon of Monday, November 2.
North and Northeast officers are working an accident at Parker and IH45. Suspect struck a bridge support during a pursuit. Traffic is backed up avoid the area. 202 pic.twitter.com/4pnhOfEMdx

The wreck was reported at the intersection of Parker Road and the Gulf Freeway around 4:40 p.m. A suspect reportedly crashed into a bridge support during a police chase. It is not clear why authorities were chasing the suspect.
