Suspect arrested in fatal wreck on the Tomball Parkway

HOUSTON, TX – A suspect has been arrested in a fatal wreck on the Tomball Parkway that was reported on the morning of Sunday, October 11, according to the Houston Police Department.
A 31-year-old woman was driving a red Honda CBR100 motorcycle when she turned left onto the southbound lanes of the Tomball Parkway from FM 1960. The suspect, 35-year-old Luis Zamora, ran a red light and struck the woman.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Authorities say Zamora showed signs of intoxication after the accident. He has since been arrested.
