Suspect arrested following fatal collision on West Little York Road

HOUSTON, TX – A suspect was arrested following a fatal collision on West Little York that took place on Thursday afternoon, the Houston Police Department reports.
Authorities say a 70-year-old man was exiting a private driveway in a silver Toyota Camry when his vehicle was struck by a Honda Accord driven by Eric Ross. The silver Toyota Camry was then pushed into another vehicle waiting at a green turn signal.
The driver of the Camry, who has not been identified, was declared dead at a local hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not harmed.
Ross, 36, was determined to have been speeding at the time of the wreck and has since been charged with manslaughter.
