Susman Godfrey out of coma after bicycle accident

HOUSTON, TX – Prominent Houston attorney Susman Godfrey has emerged from her coma following a bicycle accident that took place on April 22, according to Texas Lawyer.

Godfrey was bicycling in the Old Braeswood area of Houston when his bicycle’s tire hit a crack in the road, throwing him from his bike. He then hit his head on the pavement and was left unconscious.

The 79-year-old attorney is now recovering at TIRR Memorial Hermann, a rehabilitation center.
