Sulphur Springs – Woman Hospitalized in Texas Highway 19

Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the woman injured following a car accident on Texas Highway 19 near Wildcat Way, last March 13th.
The victim was identified as 71-year-old Kay F Vondall.
Just after 7:00 a.m., police responded to TX 19 after they received a call reporting a crash. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Kay Vondall was traveling along the highway when it crashed into a tractor-trailer that was reversing into a private drive. The impact seriously injured Vondall in the process. She was taken to a hospital where she was listed in an unknown condition. The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt. Police said a portion of the trailer was blocking the travel lanes when the collision happened.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
