Stephenville- One Killed in a Truck Collision on Highway 377

One person died after getting involved in a truck accident on Highway 377 near Stewart Road, last January 11.
According to reports, the wreck took place at an unspecified time last Wednesday. A commercial trash truck was traveling along the highway when, for yet unknown reasons, it crashed into a rock hauler. The force of impact killed the truck driver instantly. His identification has not been disclosed.
The driver of the rock hauler sustained major injuries from the collision. It was not immediately determined if he was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The highway was closed for several hours for clearing.
State investigators were requested at the scene to determine what led the fatal crash.
