Stafford – Auto Crash on Avenue E Leaves 1 Dead

The Stafford Police Department is conducting an investigation about a car accident on Avenue E, Thursday.

According to initial reports, a vehicle was traveling along Ave E near Brand Lane when it suddenly went out of control and landed in a ditch. Police said the car rolled over before coming to rest. The force of the impact left the driver of the car seriously injured. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. His passenger, whose identity has not been identified, was given treatment for possible injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Based on the initial investigation, police believe the driver of the vehicle involved may have suffered a medical emergency. Further details will be available.

The crash remains under investigation.
