Speeding driver dies after crashing into tow truck

HOUSTON, TX – A speeding driver died after crashing into a tow truck on the morning of Thursday, November 12, according to ABC 13.

Harris County Constable’s deputies and a wrecker were assisting a stranded driver when a Hyundai crashed into the back of the tow truck on South Beltway near Gessner. The driver of the Hyundai was killed upon impact; no one else was hurt.

Investigators are working to determine if alcohol was involved.
