Southlake – Bedford Rider Died in SH 114 Collision ID’d

Bedford motorcyclist who died in fatal rear-end crash on State Highway 114 has been identified by Southlake local officials, reports say.
The victim was named 67-year-old Ernest Clayton Walley II of Bedford.
At around 10:00 p.m., local troopers were requested to assist in an auto vs motorcycle accident in the 3000 block of SH 114. Initial investigation shows that Walley was riding his motorcycle along the eastbound lane of the highway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crashed into the back of a vehicle traveling in the same direction. The impact of the crash left Walley with serious injuries. He was rushed to Baylor Medical Center Grapevine where he later died.
No other injuries were reported.
Local investigators arrived at the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
