Smith County – Devin Dion Williams Died Following Rollover Crash on FM 850

A 23-year-old man was killed after getting into a crash on Farm to Market Road 850 in Smith County.

Just before 4:00 a.m., a Dodge Durango was traveling along FM 850 when it suddenly went out of control and left the roadway. The Dodge continued on, struck a culvert and overturned before coming to rest. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Devin Dion Williams, sustained significant injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. He had no passengers at the time of the accident.

Smith County has yet to determine the reason that caused Williams to lose control of the car. They believed the weather conditions may have played a role in the incident.

The crash remains under investigation.
