Slaton – Man Hospitalized Following CR 2950 Collision

Slaton law enforcement officials have identified the victim who was sent to the hospital following a major car accident on County Road 2950, last April 3rd.

In an unspecified time last Friday, police received a call reporting a crash between a semi-truck and an undescribed car. A semi-truck was reportedly traveling along CR 2950 when it drifted into the path of the other vehicle, resulting in a collision. As a result, the driver of the car sustained serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital for further medical attention. Responding authorities later named him as 46-year-old Edwardo Valdez.

Police did not release information about the semi-truck driver. However, they said that he was attempting to change lanes prior to the crash.

No charges have been made as of this writing.
