Single-vehicle collision blocks IH-610 EB offramp near south Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A single-vehicle accident late Tuesday morning blocked an exit ramp on South Loop Freeway West near south Houston’s Sunnyside area, according to Houston Transtar.

The crash occurred on the offramp from IH-610 South Loop westbound to State Highway 288. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 11:42 a.m.

By 11:54 a.m., the scene appeared to have been moved off the ramp but then blocked the left shoulder and left lane.

At this time, no further updates have been shared regarding any serious injuries.
