Sherman – Vehicle Accident on US Highway 75

Sherman law enforcement officials are investigating a vehicular accident on US Highway 75, Wednesday morning.

At around 11:00 am., police received a notification reporting a car accident along the southbound lane of US 75 near Travis Street. How the crash actually happened remains unclear at this time but initial investigation shows that two vehicles somehow collided with each other. As a result, one of the occupants in the vehicles involved suffered from undisclosed injuries. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Responding officers withhold his identification pending notification of his next of kin.

There were no other people injured.

Local investigators were called onto the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in contact with Sherman police.
