Sherman – Auto vs Pedestrian Crash on Texoma Parkway

A man was rushed to the hospital following a fatal pedestrian accident on Texoma Parkway in Sherman, last Friday.
At around 9:00 p.m., Sherman police were called to the scene of a collision at the 4900 block of Texoma Pkwy to assist a pedestrian suffering from injuries. According to the report, a pedestrian was attempting to get to the other side of the road when a passing vehicle struck him. Instead of rendering aid to the victim, the vehicle sped off and left the scene. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian with significant injuries. He was immediately taken to the local hospital where he received further medical attention. His condition was not released at this time.
The description of the vehicle, as well as the identification of the driver, remain unknown at this time.
