Shallowater – Pedestrian Crash on Clovis Road Kills 1

The Shallowater law enforcement team is investigating a pedestrian versus vehicle collision that killed one person on Clovis Road, Sunday evening.

At around 9:00 p.m., local troopers responded to Clovis Road near Farm to Market 179 Road after receiving a call reporting a crash. According to the report, a man was seen walking in the traffic lane when he was struck by an undescribed vehicle, leaving him seriously injured. The said pedestrian was then transported to University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. His identification has not been released as of this writing.

Authorities did not release information about the driver who struck the victim.

The crash remains under investigation.
