Shallowater – 1 Killed 1 Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 84

A fatal collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle resulted in the death of one person on US Highway 84 near County Road 1700, a local news source reported.

Last Wednesday, police received a call reporting a motorcycle vs pickup truck collision on Highway 84. According to the report, a pickup truck was seen traveling along the highway when it struck a motorcycle as it entered the intersection. Police said the truck failed to yield at the cross street. The driver of the pickup truck was killed upon impact. He was only identified as an 80-year-old male driver. Meanwhile, the operator of the motorcycle was rushed to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. Authorities said his injuries were considered to be serious. His identity has not yet been released at this time.
