Several injured when BMW crashes into fire engine

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Chronicle reports that several people were injured when a BMW crashed into a fire engine on Sunday night.
The fire engine was blocking the northbound lanes on the Gulf Freeway near Bellfort Street in response to a crash that occurred earlier that night. Four firefighters were inside the truck at the time.
An oncoming BMW then crashed into the vehicle, significantly damaging the car and the truck. A fifteen-year-old passenger in the car was seriously injured but is expected to survive her injuries. The firefighters inside the truck were injured but are in stable condition.
