Serious injuries occur when driver crashes into disabled vehicle in HOV lane

CONROE, TX – At least one person was severely injured after a driver crashed into a disabled vehicle on I-45 this afternoon, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.
The accident happened on southbound I-45, near FM 1488 Road, just before 5 p.m., as the driver of a pickup truck was traveling at about 70 miles per hour. The vehicle crashed into the rear of a disabled vehicle, another pickup truck, in the HOV lane.
At least one person sustained severe injuries in the crash.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
