Semi-truck wreck blocks shoulder on N Sam Houston Twy in south Humble

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A heavy truck accident was reported late Wednesday morning on North Sam Houston Tollway near the Fall Creek area of south Humble, according to Houston Transtar.

The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of the tollway (Beltway 8) at Mesa Road. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 11:18 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but the truck came to rest on the right shoulder and away from traffic lanes. No other vehicles appear to have been involved.

By 11:43 a.m., the scene had been cleared.

No further updates have been released as of this writing.
