Semi-truck wreck blocks lanes off W Sam Houston Twy in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A semi-truck accident Thursday morning closed three frontage road lanes off West Sam Houston Tollway near Houston’s South York neighborhood, according to Houston TranStar.

The collision occurred along the southbound tollway before West Little York Road. It was verified by Houston TranStar at 9:52 a.m.

Few details have been provided at this time, but authorities indicated a heavy truck crash, resulting in a hazmat spill. No other vehicles appear to have been involved.

As of this writing, no information has been disclosed regarding any serious injuries.
