KENDLETON, TX (FORT BEND COUNTY) – A semi-truck carrying a load of chicken bones crashed into a wall and overturned on Thursday, according to a report by KTRK and tweets by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported by FBCSO’s Twitter just after 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and occurred on US Highway 59 at FM 2919 in Fort Bend County.
The driver of the semi was mildly injured, according to the report.
Several lanes of traffic were diverted for a few hours while officials cleaned up the mess, which they documented with many chicken-related puns.
