School bus involved in crash on N Sam Houston Twy in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A collision involving an Aldine ISD school bus and a passenger car was reported Friday morning on North Sam Houston Tollway in northwest Houston, reports ABC13 Houston.

The accident occurred on the westbound lanes (Beltway 8) near the Antoine Drive feeder road. It was first reported by ABC13 shortly before 8:00 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but authorities said students were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The bus did not appear significantly damaged, but a car with front-end damage was observed at the scene.

Footage captured at the scene shows the child passengers being assisted off the bus, but authorities have not confirmed any serious injuries as of this writing.
