San Diego – Man Killed on Bexar Street Identified

A San Deigo local official has named the male victim who died in a car accident on Bexar Street, Thursday evening.
The fatality was identified as a 26-year-old Eric Galvan.
According to initial reports, the fatal accident took place at around 11:00 p.m. Eric Galvan was driving through a railroad crossing on his white Ford pickup truck at the 200 block of North Bexar Street when it got struck by a passing train. The train derailed and landed on top of the pickup truck, killing Galvan in the process. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not release information about the driver and the passenger on the train.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
