San Antonio – Wrong-Way Crash on FM 78

At least one person was sent to the hospital following a head-on crash on Farm to Market Road 78 in San Antonio last Saturday morning.

Police responded to FM 78 after they received reports of a passenger car traveling in the opposite side of the road on Rittiman. When they arrived at the scene, they found the wrong-way car and a sport utility vehicle with external damages. The driver of the SUV was rushed to Northeast Baptist with undisclosed injuries. His condition was not immediately determined. Meanwhile, the driver of the wrong-way vehicle was rushed to the hospital and later taken into custody on DUI suspicion.

No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
