San Antonio – Woman Struck and Killed by a Car on Boerne Stage Rd

The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an investigation regarding an auto versus pedestrian collision on Boerne Stage Road, Thursday night.

According to the report released by first responding officers, the woman was along the road when a passing vehicle struck her at the intersection of Boerne Stage Road and River Ranch. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian, identified only as a 76-year-old woman, lying on the ground, unresponsive. She died from the injuries she sustained from the force of the impact.

Authorities did not release information about the driver of the suspect vehicle.

No citations have been issued as the crash is still under investigation. Anyone who has information about the crash should get in contact with SAPD.
