San Antonio – Woman Died on Solo-Vehicle Collision on Culebra Rd

San Antonio law enforcement officials are investigating a major car accident on Culebra Road last Sunday morning.

Just after 3:00 a.m., police found a vehicle in a parking lot at the 3600 block of Culebra Road. When they checked for injured occupants, they found the driver inside unconscious. He suffered from injuries and was rushed to University Hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately released. Authorities said a female victim was found in the roadway not too far from the wreckage. Whether or not she was struck by the vehicle remains unclear at this time. Authorities said the female victim also sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Local investigators are still gathering information about the case. They suspect the driver may have been under the influence when the accident took place.
