San Antonio – Woman Died in Fatal Culebra Rd Crash

San Antonio law enforcement officials are looking into a vehicle accident on Culebra Road Monday morning, a local news source reported.

The incident took place just after midnight at the intersection of Culebra Rd near Micron Drive.

Based on the initial investigation, a white truck was entered the cross street on a red light and ended up crashing into a silver compact SUV. The impact of the crash seriously injured the occupant of the SUV. She was taken to University Hospital where she was pronounced deceased at a later time.

The driver who ran a red light was taken into custody and is facing intoxication manslaughter charges. His identity has not yet been released at this time.
