San Antonio – Teen Died in Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 35

San Antonio law enforcement is still investigating a vehicle accident that killed a pedestrian on Interstate 35, Friday.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred on I-35 near Loop 1604. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a Hispanic male, identified only as a 19-year-old pedestrian lying on the ground with serious injuries. He was later pronounced deceased by medical crews. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time.

No other injuries were reported.

Local police have yet to identify whether the victim was struck by a vehicle or the teen fell from the semi-truck and struck him. The driver of the vehicle involved did not stop to provide assistance to the victim. His identification, as well as the location of the vehicle, has yet to be determined by investigators. The investigation is still in progress.
