San Antonio – Sylvia Rodriguez, 56, Died after Getting Hit by Two Cars on Enrique Barrera Parkway

The San Antonio Police Department has identified the female pedestrian who died in a fatal pedestrian collision on Enrique Barrera Parkway last Friday night.
The fatality was identified 56-year-old Sylvia Rodriguez.
According to a report releases by local officials, the incident took place at the 800 block of Enrique Barrera Parkway around 10:45 p.m. Police said that Rodriguez was seen crossing the street when she was sideswiped by a black pickup truck was turning onto Enrique Barrera Parkway from Southwest 38th Street. Rodriguez fell to the ground and was then hit by a white pickup truck that was driving behind the black truck.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found Rodriguez with serious injuries. She was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.
Authorities said that both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with local investigators.
