San Antonio— Stephen Hernandez Dies Following a Hit-and-Run Crash on Culebra Road

A hit-and-run accident on Culebra Road in Northwest Side caused the death of a 26-year-old man, last Wednesday night.
The victim was identified by local authorities as Stephen Hernandez, 26.
Just after 8:00 p.m., San Antonio police officers responded to a wreck along Culebra Road near 28th Street. According to a report, Stephen Hernandez was riding a motorcycle along the eastbound lanes of Culebra when it collided with a brown truck that drifted onto its path. Hernandez sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. He was rushed to University Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the brown truck did not render aid to the victim and fled the scene. His identification has not been released by police officials.
An investigation is underway.
