San Antonio – Several Injured in Car Collision on Interstate 410

A fiery collision on North East Interstate 410 Loop resulted in injuries, according to a local news source. At around 9:30 p.m., San Antonio officers received a call reporting an auto collision on NE Loop 410 near Binz-Engleman. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but officers confirmed that two SUVs, for yet unknown reasons, collided with each other. The impact of the collision caused one of the SUV to catch fire.

Four occupants had to be extricated from the wreckage by emergency crews. They sustained undisclosed injuries and were given proper medical treatment. It was not determined if they were hospitalized.

San Antonio law enforcement officials have yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. The investigation is underway.
