San Antonio – Several Injured in Car Accident on Pleasanton Rd

The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an investigation about a car accident on Pleasanton Road, Tuesday evening.

At arround 10:30 p.m., local police received a call reporting an auto collision on Pleasanton Rd near Moursand Boulevard in San Antonio. Preliminary investigation shows that a couch strapped to a pickup truck suddenly fell off the truck as it travels down the roadway. The vehicle behind the truck swerved to avoid hitting the couch but it ended up rolling over a number of times. Three occupants in the said vehicle, including the driver, sustained various injuries from the force of the impact. They were given treatment and released.

No identification was released. Police said the driver of the pickup truck hauling the couch did not stop at the scene of the crash.
