San Antonio – Rollover Collision on Highway 181

A fatal car accident on Highway 181 took the lives of two people, Saturday morning, according to a local news source.
At around 10:00 a.m., a 2003 Ford Expedition was traveling along the northbound lane of US Highway 181 when, for yet unknown reasons, it went out of control and overturned a number of times. The impact of the collision ejected two people from the SUV, leaving them seriuosly injured. A passenger in the front seat also sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital along with the driver of the SUV, identified as 38-year-old Joseph Anthony Robles. Their condition remains unknown at this time.
Based on a preliminary investigation, authorities found out that the front seat passenger was wearing a seat belt when the accident took place which may have prevented him from being thrown out from the vehicle.
The investigation continues.
