San Antonio – Regina Ann Benavides Hit by A Car on Pinn Road

The San Antonio Police Department has released the name of the victim who died of blunt force injuries after getting struck by a vehicle on Pinn Road, Wednesday.
The fatality was identified as Regina Ann Benavides, 41.
At around 7:00 a.m., Regina Benavides was seen crossing the street near Cable Elementary School, at the 1706 block of Pinn Road, when she was hit by a passing vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and reported the incident to police.
Benavides sustained seriuos injuries from the impact of the collision. She was then taken to University Hospital where she later died.
No other injuries were reported.
Local investigators were requested at the scene to determine liability. The investigation is still progress.
