San Antonio—Pedestrian Struck by a Tour Bus on Mary’s Street

The San Antonio Police Department is investigating a pedestrian accident that killed a woman on St. Mary’s Street, Wednesday afternoon.
According to initial reports, the collision took place at around 4:25 p.m. at the crossing street of St. Mary’s and Market streets. A woman was crossing when she was struck by a charter bus that was making a left turn to Market.
The force of the impact killed the female pedestrian shortly. She was only identified as a woman in her early 30s. It was not confirmed if the victim was on a designated crosswalk.
No other injuries were reported at this time.
Local investigators were called onto the scene to determine liability. The crash remains under investigation.
