San Antonio – Pedestrian Struck and Injured on North Frio Street

An auto versus pedestrian collision on North Frio Street sent a woman to the hospital, Thursday night.
At around 9:20 p.m., San Antonio local police were dispatched in the area of North Frio Street near West Martin. Police said a woman was walking across the roadway when a passing sport-utility vehicle struck her. The force of the impact left the female pedestrian, identified only as a 31-year-old woman, with serious injuries. Emergency crews immediately rushed the victim to University Hospital for further medical attention. Unfortunately, her condition was not disclosed.
Whether or not the driver of the SUV remained at the scene remains unclear at this time. No charges have been made, as per reports.
