San Antonio – Pedestrian Killed on Boerne Stage Rd Identified

San Antonio local enforcement officials have released the name of the victim who died in a pedestrian crash on Boerne Stage Road last Sunday.

The fatality was identified as 36-year-old Juan Villarreal.

At around 2:00 a.m., a vehicle was seen traveling along Interstate 10 near Boerne Stage Rd when it pulled over to the side of the road. As the driver, Juan Villareal, stepped out of the vehicle, he was then struck by a passing vehicle. Villareal sustained injuries and ended up at the middle of the road where he was struck by another car. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Both drivers of the vehicle remained at the scene. They were not hurt.

Police have yet to determine the reason why Villareal exited his vehicle. An investigation is underway.
