San Antonio – Pedestrian Hospitalized after Getting Hit by a Car on Randolph Blvd

Last Saturday, an auto vs pedestrian accident on Randolph Boulevard resulted in injuries, according to San Antonio local police.
At around 8:00 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the 6100 block of Randolph Boulevard in response to a call reporting a crash. Initial investigation shows that a woman was walking on the shoulder of the road when a vehicle struck her. Police said the car drifted off the roadway and hit the female pedestrian before crashing into a building. The driver of the vehicle initially escaped the scene but was later located by authorities. He has yet to be tested for intoxication.
The pedestrian, identified only as a 20-year-old Hispanic female, sustained injuries that were considered to be minor. He was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment.
No charges have been made as of this writing.
