San Antonio – Motorcyclist Killed in Culebra Rd ID’d

The San Antonio Police Department named the victim who died in a tragic motorcycle versus vehicle collision on Culebra Road near Rim Rock Trail, Sunday morning.

The fatality was identified as 62-year-old Carlos Colorado.

According to the police, the incident took place just after 9:00 a.m. on Culebra Rd. Colorado was riding his motorcycle when a Ford Focus drove into his path and struck him. He tried to slide to avoid colliding with the vehicle but to no avail.

Authorities said Colorado sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford was not injured. She told the police that she was not able to see the rider while she was attempting to make a turn towards Culebra.

No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
