San Antonio – Motorcycle vs SUV Crash on Southcross Boulevard Sent One person to Hospital

A motorcycle rider was sent to a hospital after getting involved in a vehicle collision on Southcross Boulevard last Friday evening.
According to initial reports, the incident took place just after 9:00 p.m. on the westbound lane of Southcross. A motorcycle was seen traveling along the roadway when a sport utility vehicle cut it off, resulting in a crash. The force of the impact knocked the rider off the bike, leaving him with a serious head injury. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment. As per medical personnel, he was listed in stable condition.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. will be charged with failure to stop and render aid. Police are investigating the incident.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The case remains under investigation.
