San Antonio—Motorcycle vs Pickup Truck Crash on General McMullen Drive

The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an investigation about a collision on General McMullen Drive near Wallace Street that injured a motorcycle rider yesterday.
Just after 8:00 p.m., local responders received a crash alert at the 900 block of South General McMullen Drive. According to reports, a motorcycle was traveling along General McMullen when it crashed into a pickup truck that making a left turn at the intersection. The force of the impact threw the rider off his bike.
Emergency crews said that the rider suffered from critical injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identification was not released.
No other injuries were reported as of this writing.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the rider reportedly ran a red light which caused the accident.
