San Antonio – Mark Anthony Nevarez II Died After Crash on Loop 1604

A 15-year-old teenager was pronounced deceased while three others were hurt following a fatal solo-car accident on Loop 1604 on the far West Side last Thursday morning.
According to initial reports, the incident took place just before 8:00 a.m. at the 4200 block of Loop 1604. A vehicle was seen traveling along the area when, for reasons that had not been determined, it went out of control and crashed into a pillar.
An occupant, identified as Mark Anthony Nevarez II, 15, was ejected from the vehicle, leaving him life-threatening injuries. Nevarez was pronounced dead at the scene by an EMT.
Two women and the driver sustained various injuries as well. They were all taken to University Hospital where they received proper treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
